What Our Runners Are Saying…

This is one of the most beautiful, most joyful and best organised races it has ever been my privilege to take part in. For only two years old it works like clockwork, probably because so many runners are involved in its set up. Spectacular views, brilliant volunteers. Just amazing. Well done to you all

Marathons don't get better than this. The Hoppit is almost too good. It really ups our expectations of all other races. Fantastic, thanks Tim Fowler and team. My 2nd time and it is so good, intend to do every single year. A real feel good race even in the heat!

I'll be back! I ran the half last year too and I'll be back next year, possibly for the Marathon. This event is a must. Tough as very undulating but like any Trail race, best to run at own pace. Great organisation, great goodie bad and great medal.

Best race I've ever taken part in - simply brilliant! A couple of really tough hills but they're over quickly and the rest is gently rolling. Great scenery, organisation, food and drink stations, interesting course that's mostly easy-going on the feet, and excellent value considering everything you get during and after the race. A super Facebook community, too. Very friendly before, during and after the run.
