What Our Runners Are Saying…
This is an absolute cracker. I did it in 2018 and found it faultless and such a joyous event that I returned this year. When you have high expectations it easy to be disappointed but not so here! This race not only does the big things really well but it’s all the little extras that make it so very memorable and by far and away one of the very best events. A truly wonderful set of organisers and marshals, unrivalled scenery and goodies galore!
Top class all round a must for all trail runners.
This was my first Hoppit and it did not disappoint. What a fabulous race. I’ve met fantastic marshals on all of my races but these guys we’re outstanding; fun, welcoming, smiley and motivating. I was so surprised at all the things you got for the entrance fee, such good value for money. Definitely up there in my top 5. Recommended whole heartedly.
I have run 46 marathons - this is right up there with being one of my favourite. Organisation was second to none. Everything went like clockwork on the day and before too. This event was all about the runners and their experience and not a commercial enterprise. Every runner was issued a reusable cup so no plastic waste was produced. Fab medal, pint glass and goodie bag too. The route was outstanding with trail, tech trail, small country lanes, grass - something for everyone. Highly recommended on every level.
Absolutely brilliant race. I did the half marathon - course was challenging but not ridiculous. Spectacular views, first class marshalls and drinks/food on the way round. Also want to call out the excellent organisation overall and the race instructions - top notch all round. Would definitely recommend.
