Regulars will know that every finisher receives a keepsake glass that they can then fill from the Loddon Brewery beer tent next to the Finish arch. The marathon finishers receive a Pint Glass, the Half Marathon finishers receive a Half Pint glass, and the 10k finishers receive a 7oz glass. Many of you return each year to add to your growing Hoppit glass collection. :) When ordering from our suppliers, the glasses come in all shapes and sizes, and we have to make the order early. For our 11th year we can announce that we have selected the 'senator' shaped pint glass, and we have selected the 'conical' shaped Half Pint, and the 'conical' shaped 7oz glasses. ... A couple of items of news: 1) Entries: With less than 5 months until race day we have 220 entries and we think that our 11th year is looking likely to sellout early, particularly the shorter distances. Thank you everyone that has entered so far, we can't wait to see you.2) Catering in the Race HQ field: Taking the feedback from last year, we have decided to double-up on our food and coffee vendors, hopefully eradicating those annoying queues and also providing more options.
